Call to Order
Meeting was called to order by president Mary Lou Kriner at 12:03 followed by the flag salute.

Membership
Membership drive continues. 60 current 2018 members; 37 have been received so far for 2019.
Guest Speaker
No guest speaker at this meeting
TVBRC
Police department is currently inhabiting the TVBRC building through April 2019.
RV Park
Water has been drained and the park is closed for the winter. It will re-open in April 2019.
Old Business
Winterfest went well. Friday night band performance collected $763.00 and a few toys. Saturday was a hit with $144 collected for the chili cook off and a great Santa who delivered pictures in a timely fashion.
Mary Lou showed members present the new window clings for membership in 2019. She will be distributing soon.
It was decided not to do a party at Mary Lou’s on Saturday, December 15 because there are so many competing holiday commitments. Mary Lou purchased lunch for members present.
New Business
December’s featured business is The Split End. The group voted for Hickman’s Body Shop for January. A list of chamber members will be brought to the next meeting so that we can choose a couple months in advance.
Community Announcements
Members discussed the upcoming Chamber banquet. It was decided that the banquet will be held on January 19 at the Kuhler. Tickets will be $25 per ticket. There will be a choice of prime rib or chicken as the entree. Tickets will be available through Mary Lou, and possibly the library and the Kuhler. An announcement will be sent via email and posted on Facebook when tickets are available. We will be doing a silent auction and live auction. It was discussed that baked goods are always really popular. Tracy and Angie will be soliciting donations for the auction. We will also solicit items through email and Facebook. The theme that was selected was Recreation. Mary Lou will be working on getting the posters produced as soon as possible for distribution. Nominations for Business of the Year, Organization of the Year, Citizen of the Year and the Grand Marshal were solicited. The Board will make the final decision on these items at their next meeting.

New member George Rippee was present representing the American Legion. He announced that the legion will be serving a Christmas dinner on December 20, 2018 from Noon to 2 pm. Turkey and ham will be served with a potluck for side dishes. The legion will be open Christmas day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day.
