March 12, 2019
Call to Order
Meeting was called to order by president Mary Lou Kriner at 12:03 followed by the flag salute.

Membership
54 current Chamber members.
Guest Speaker
James Moore returned to present findings on the Route 97 Book. Price is $2400 for full page and $1840 for a half page. There was a small discussion about the book and it’s relevance, but the price is very prohibitive. James also attended the Opportunity Zone meeting. He suggested anyone who was interested in investing to visit http://www.economic-alliance.com.
James also suggested that Tonasket develop one or several street banners that advertise different events.
The Whitcomb Avenue Project, formerly called the“Magnificent Mile” will now be called The Perfect Passageway
TVBRC
TVBRC will re-open in May.
RV Park
Will re-open in April/May, weather permitting. WIFI in the park never worked properly all of last year so Marylou will be troubleshooting and perhaps buying new equipment.
There will be a work party for the RV park on April 13 beginning at 9 am where volunteers will be trimming trees and pulling weeds and overall cleanup. Please bring some tools with you. Call Marylou if you have questions.
Old Business
Founder’s Day: Chamber will be doing the vendors and parade in town this year. Devin from Hickman’s is sponsoring a Soap Box Derby. Guidelines are posted on the Chamber’s website. March’s Business of the Month is Lee Frank’s.
New Business
Members voted on business of the month as follows: April - Midway; May - Little Shop of Yoga; June - All Sew; July - Tonasket Pharmacy
Founder’s Committee will meet again on March 13, 2019 at noon at The Kuhler.
Community Announcements
Tonasket Pharmacy will be opening in late spring.
CCC will host it’s annual Talent Show on April 13
